Controlling user access to folders and contents

Grant or deny folder- and content level access for each user role to control who can create, read, update and delete content. For a more granular control, set custom operations.

To grant or deny user access, one must be in the Administrator role.

How to grant or deny users folder- and content access

To grant or deny users folder- and content access, do as follows:

  1. Select a content or folder, and click the Action bar.
  2. Select and click Access Control from the dropdown menu.
  3. Select Grant Access or Deny Access.
  4. Fill out the Operation type and the user Role. For example, you can set that users with a basic role can only read folders and content, but cannot modify or delete them.
  5. Click OK.
