UI components overview
Document.One provides five standalone UI components that you can use to search, view, edit and import documents in D1 repository:
- Search
- Hit list
- Properties panel
- Web Reader
- Import panel
Functionalities of these UI components are highly configurable, and you can customize them as required and then embed in your custom applications as required.
The configuration examples of the new functionality are embedded into the Repository Explorer, and you can open them by selecting a repository from the D1 Services page and then clicking UI Components Examples.

Search component
By using the Search component, you can search for documents in a repository. You can search for documents by text, by search query, and by document properties.

Hit list component
By using the Hit list component, you can save searches and quickly access the saved searches results. For information about the Hit list configuration, see Configuring the Hit list component.
Properties panel
You can view and edit the details of documents found in the search results in the Properties panel. For information about the Properties panel configuration, see Properties panel component.

Import panel
You can import new contents/folders. For information about the Import panel configuration, see Import panel component.
Web Reader
You can view one or more documents in the Web Reader. Web Reader provides a number of features useful for viewing different types of documents. For more information about this tool, see Web Reader.
