Setting the root folder for external repositories

You can define the Root Folder Id for CMIS and Documentum repositories. This folder does not have to be a cabinet.

When you synchronize and activate the repository, and then you click Browse, D1 shows folders/contents of the root folder. Whe you create a new folder or contents, D1 places this content inside the root folder that you have previously defined.

To set the root folder for an external repository

  1. Log in to Document. One, and open the D1 Administrator page:

  2. Select Repositories , and then select a CMIS or Documentum repository.

  3. Click the selected repository, and then select Details fro the context menu.

  4. In the Connection section, enter the root folder name.

  5. Click Apply.
