User administration
When you have a fresh installation of Document.One system, you have only one user which you can use to access the D1 Overview page. The credentials of this user are configured in the installation-settings.yaml
file. This user by default has the role of tf-admin and has administrative permissions on the Tribefire platform.
In Document.One, you can add users and user groups as follows:
- Create users and user groups in D1 Administrator. For information about how to do this, see Adding users and user groups.
- Configure external LDAP users to access D1 system. For information about how to do this, see Configuring external LDAP.
In both cases, you need to grant users and user groups permissions for accessing D1 system and performing tasks in it. For this, you need to use the predefined system roles or create custom roles and assign them to users and user groups. For information about how to add new roles, see Adding roles.
